Nik Mohd Shazmie, known in the art world as Nik Shazmie, is a rising star in the contemporary Malaysian art scene. Born in 1990 in Kedah, Malaysia, he received his Bachelor's degree in Fine Art (Painting) from UiTM (Universiti Teknologi MARA), Shah Alam, in 2013.

Shazmie's works often employ a mix of abstract and figurative elements, using vibrant, bold colors and expressive brushstrokes. He is particularly known for his series of paintings that reimagine comic book and superhero icons in a fresh and often satirical light, reflecting on themes of popular culture, identity, and the human condition.

Although young, Shazmie has shown promise and ambition, having participated in several group exhibitions in Malaysia. His vibrant works have caught the attention of many art enthusiasts and collectors, signifying a promising future for this emerging artist.
